Details:
Journaling is an excellent tool for documenting, reflecting on, and reviewing your learning. This method allows you to “connect the dots” and examine the relationships between and among activities, interactions, and outcomes.
Unlike a personal journal of thoughts and feelings, this Leadership Journal is a record of your academic activities, assessments, and learning.
Journal entries should include the number of hours spent each week with your nurse leader.
Write a 750-1,500-word journal entry about humility that includes the following:
Provide observations and thoughts on Weeks 13-14 activities.
Describe a recent interaction or decision point in which your nurse leader demonstrated humility or a missed opportunity to help others succeed.
Share a synopsis of your practicum experience with your nurse leader. What insights into your own leadership style did you gain? What do you believe was the most important lesson you took away from this experience?
Outline a plan to improve your own leadership success using servant leadership principles. Determine the specific steps you intend to take to achieve this improvement.
Consider at least two things you learned from the video “Issue of Humility.”
Although APA format is not required, strong academic writing is expected.
