Journaling is an excellent tool for documenting, reflecting on, and reviewing your learning. This method allows you to “connect the
dots” and examine the relationships between and among activities, interactions, and outcomes.
Unlike a personal journal of thoughts and feelings, this Leadership Journal is a record of your academic activities, assessments, and learning.
Journal entries should include the number of hours spent each week with your nurse leader.
Write a journal entry of 750-1,500 words about serving that includes the following:
Provide observations and thoughts on the Weeks 9-10 activities.
Do your coworkers or those you “serve” hold you accountable for any aspect of their success? Describe a time when you were able to help another nurse achieve a professional goal.
Consider at least two things you learned from the video “Issue of Servant.”
