Full-text for nursing and allied journals can be accessed through CINAHL making it safer and reliable for research and evidenced-based projects because it has been peer-reviewed, clinically tried and you easily limit your search to make sure the result fits the research topic you are looking for. CINAHL and any other database are better than google because you may be requested to pay for the full text of an article if you search for it on Google or Yahoo. As you mention, the CINAHL Complete is a database that one can use to get resources because it offers full text articles and peer-reviewed journal articles with researched evidence for utilization when doing capstone projects. As you mention, all these databases are user-centered and friendly (EBSCO, 2022). The databases boast of a vast amount of resources that include over 60,000 full-text publications and works that are arranged in an orderly and chronological manner for easy access, use, and referencing. These databases have their merits and demerits compared to Google Scholar in various aspects. For instance, the full text articles come with complete citations compared to Google Scholar that does not offer correct references with DOIs. Despite the advantages that the databases offer, it is essential to still leverage Google Scholar where necessary.

The application of evidence-based practice in nursing is essential because it enhances safe and quality of care among patients (Tucker et al., 2021). It is therefore important for nurses to recognize current evidence-based practices so as to effectively address the unique healthcare conditions affecting patients as well as improve health in the general population. While studying a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program, nurses get exposed to evidence based interventions that are applicable in healthcare and this has been a critical component in patient care in recent decades.
The experience and education that I have received in studying my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program has helped me gain knowledge and skills on how to obtain, evaluate and implement the use of evidence in my nursing practice. For instance, I have been equipped with formulating a PICOT question that guides me in doing relevant and quality research in nursing. I have also gained knowledge in quality improvement, which is one of the critical areas in nursing practice. One way of integrating the use of evidence into practice is through performing educational activities that are essential in enhancing awareness of the adoption of change within an organization. Second, I will integrate all stakeholders while implementing evidence-based practice to prevent resistance from other stakeholders.
Some of the potential barriers to the implementation of EBP include resistance by some of the stakeholders and lack of adequate resources to implement evidence-based practices (Wang, Bero & Grundy, 2021). Most of the stakeholders are in most cases opposed to any changes within an organization including the implementation of evidence-based practices. To overcome resistance, it is important to involve all stakeholder. Also, working with other support groups such as professional organizations including the American Nursing Association which can help in advocating for the implementation of EBP.
