I like your analogy of education being like building a brick wall. Seeing advancing education and technology as a process in adding layers relieves some of the stress from feeling that we have to learn everything all at once. For example, Telestroke programs can connect hospitals to neurologists for CT evaluation and reduce door-to-treatment time, improving patient survival and outcomes (Sharma, Fleischut, & Barchi, 2017). These tidbits of information remind me now crucial technological competency is and motivates me to constantly work on adding to my layers of education, especially with regards to areas where I am the weakest.
