This guide will demonstrate how to complete the HLT 362 Summary of Current Course Content Knowledge assignment based on general principles of academic writing. Here, we will show you the A, B, Cs of completing an academic paper, irrespective of the instructions. After guiding you through what to do, the guide will leave one or two sample essays at the end to highlight the various sections discussed below.

How to Research and Prepare for HLT 362 Summary of Current Course Content Knowledge

Whether one passes or fails an academic assignment such as the Grand Canyon University   HLT 362 Summary of Current Course Content Knowledge depends on the preparation done beforehand. The first thing to do once you receive an assignment is to quickly skim through the requirements. Once that is done, start going through the instructions one by one to clearly understand what the instructor wants. The most important thing here is to understand the required format—whether it is APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.

After understanding the requirements of the paper, the next phase is to gather relevant materials. The first place to start the research process is the weekly resources. Go through the resources provided in the instructions to determine which ones fit the assignment. After reviewing the provided resources, use the university library to search for additional resources. After gathering sufficient and necessary resources, you are now ready to start drafting your paper.

How to Write the Introduction for HLT 362 Summary of Current Course Content Knowledge

The introduction for the Grand Canyon University   HLT 362 Summary of Current Course Content Knowledge is where you tell the instructor what your paper will encompass. In three to four statements, highlight the important points that will form the basis of your paper. Here, you can include statistics to show the importance of the topic you will be discussing. At the end of the introduction, write a clear purpose statement outlining what exactly will be contained in the paper. This statement will start with “The purpose of this paper…” and then proceed to outline the various sections of the instructions.

How to Write the Body for HLT 362 Summary of Current Course Content Knowledge

After the introduction, move into the main part of the HLT 362 Summary of Current Course Content Knowledge assignment, which is the body. Given that the paper you will be writing is not experimental, the way you organize the headings and subheadings of your paper is critically important. In some cases, you might have to use more subheadings to properly organize the assignment. The organization will depend on the rubric provided. Carefully examine the rubric, as it will contain all the detailed requirements of the assignment. Sometimes, the rubric will have information that the normal instructions lack.

Another important factor to consider at this point is how to do citations. In-text citations are fundamental as they support the arguments and points you make in the paper. At this point, the resources gathered at the beginning will come in handy. Integrating the ideas of the authors with your own will ensure that you produce a comprehensive paper. Also, follow the given citation format. In most cases, APA 7 is the preferred format for nursing assignments.

How to Write the Conclusion for HLT 362 Summary of Current Course Content Knowledge

After completing the main sections, write the conclusion of your paper. The conclusion is a summary of the main points you made in your paper. However, you need to rewrite the points and not simply copy and paste them. By restating the points from each subheading, you will provide a nuanced overview of the assignment to the reader.

How to Format the References List for HLT 362 Summary of Current Course Content Knowledge

The very last part of your paper involves listing the sources used in your paper. These sources should be listed in alphabetical order and double-spaced. 2) I have no prior knowledge of some of the weekly objectives in this course. For example, I am unfamiliar with the concepts of project monitoring and control or the principles of quality management and change management.

3) I would like to discuss the topics of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, monitoring and control, quality management, and change management with my instructor and classmates. I have some questions about how these concepts can be applied to different types of projects, as well as what strategies can be used to ensure successful project completion. Additionally, I am curious to learn more about the tools and techniques used to effectively manage projects.

I have some knowledge of statistics years back in school and might be able to catch up and retrieve somethings from my memory bank as we progress in the course. Can we repeat the quiz or is a one time thing.

I studied Medical Mathematics as a pre-requisite for my Associate in Nursing many years ago and it was only 1 credit hour, hopefully, the knowledge I gained then will help me in this course. Otherwise, I am nervous about the expectations, all the same, excited about gaining more knowledge that would enhance my practice.

1.Which weekly objectives do you have prior knowledge of and to what extent? Only prior knowledge I have from this class is week one on nightingales contributions and how statistical application was influenced. Other than that I have no other prior knowledge of week one.

I have no prior knowledge of weekly objectives in week 2,3,4, and 5.

3.What course-related topics would you like to discuss with your instructor and classmates?

Course related questions I have is do we have only one time to complete the quiz and get a passing grade? Or are we able to retake the quiz if needed for a better grade? Also, what does the quiz entail is it multiple choice, written, fill in the blank, etc? What kind of material will be covered on the quiz?

I have very limited knowledge of applied statistic. This knowledge will likely help me over time in a variety of ways. If the prior knowledge is correct and consistent with the new information being taught, the effect on learning is positive.

Which weekly objectives do you have prior knowledge of and to what extent?

I  have seen how Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) is utilized to improve patient care but I have never collected and analyzed data in this manner.

Which weekly objectives do you have no prior knowledge of?

I took a statistics class in college a long time ago but I dropped out of the class right away. I have minimal knowledge of Statistics in Health Care.  I have seen statistical analyses and graphs, but I don’t understand how the numbers are used in healthcare.  I mostly see managers and executives using healthcare statistics.  I am a beginner in this topic.

What course-related topics would you like to discuss with your instructor and classmates?

Professor, How did you become interested in Healthcare statistics?

How are statistics used in your individual fields?

Are you as nervous as me about taking this class?

Do any other students feel comfortable with making graphs and tables?

What questions or concerns do you have about this course?

Do we have an actual textbook for this class or is it an online textbook?

Will we be using a lot of math for this class?

What do the quizzes entail and how are they given?

How do we receive assistance if needed?

Will we have technical support?

I feel like I have very limited prior knowledge of applied healthcare statistics. I may have prior knowledge of weekly objective definitions of statistical terms. I am very interested in the historical application of statistics. I am also looking forward to learning about the application of statistics in health care quality, safety, health promotion, and leadership. I do not have any questions or concerns about this course at this point.

Which weekly objectives do you have prior knowledge of and to what extent?

After looking through the weekly objectives, I feel I do not have any prior knowledge of any topic. That being said, I am excited to learn and enhance my knowledge along with my skill set every week.

Which weekly objectives do you have no prior knowledge of?

Almost all weekly objectives remain unfamiliar to me. I am looking forward to this class, although the thought of having to take a statistics course has always left me a little nervous.

What course-related topics would you like to discuss with your instructor and classmates?  What questions or concerns do you have about this course?

I am just nervous about this class in general and I know that my confidence and understanding will come with time. I know that if anything were to ever trouble me I could reach out to fellow classmates and the instructor for a better understanding.

From analyzing these statistics courses’ weekly objectives, I assume this course will be a field with different challenges and tasks, do I not have prior knowledge to complete these topics and objectives? I intend to gather all support and knowledge I can about this statistics course and am open to sharing my very best of me. Please let go for the challenge. God is in control success comes from God. My question is how to schedule with the library because my time is different from Arizona’s time.

Which weekly objectives do you have prior knowledge of and to what extent?

This will be an interesting and challenging course. I do not have prior knowledge of any of the objectives we will be discussing in this class, therefore I am looking forward to learning and gaining some knowledge.

Which weekly objectives do you have no prior knowledge of? I do not have prior knowledge of any of the weekly objectives.

What course-related topics would you like to discuss with your instructor and classmates?  Since I am not familiar with any of the weekly objectives, I am interested in discussing all the topics and learning as much as possible.

What questions or concerns do you have about this course? My concern about this course is time management. I work full time, have a family to take care and live in an area where wifi is not very reliable, especially after the storms that have taken place where I live. I usually have to drive around to a Starbucks coffee shop or outside a library to get wifi but I am trusting God’s I will be successful and overcome any challenges to complete this course.

I have a very limited knowledge of the weekly topics, as I have not taken a math course in years. In my day to day life, the only math I do is medication calculation, which are typically simple. Other than that, most of my math is done on a calculator. I have a basic understanding of the different sampling populations from various studies I have read over time. I am eager to learn as much as I can during this course so I am able to analyze studies more efficiently and determine whether or not they are credible.

While I have a basic working knowledge of research statistics, it is very superficial. Many of the objectives have been previously introduced when I participated in an “Intro to Research Methods” class, however, that class was over ten years ago and my level of retained understanding is minimal. I have been introduced to basic statistical terms and recognize the significance of the p-value. I also have an introductory knowledge of the different sampling populations, including the methods of using a blind or double-blind study. The idea of “rejecting” or “not rejecting” a null hypothesis is a completely new concept to me, as I do not recall having learned this before. Additionally, the term confidence interval is familiar, however the definition escapes me. While I am concerned that I may be lacking the mathematical background to do well in this class, I am eager to develop a deeper understanding of research statistics so that I can better synthesize research articles for future education.

Visit the Writing Center in the Student Success Center, under the Resources tab in LoudCloud for tips on improving your paper and SI score.

Welcome to class

Hello class and welcome to the class and I will be your instructor for this course. This is a -week course and requires a lot of time commitment, organization, and a high level of dedication. Please use the class syllabus to guide you through all the assignments required for the course. I have also attached the classroom policies to this announcement to know your expectations for this course. Please review this document carefully and ask me any questions if you do. You could email me at any time or send me a message via the “message” icon in halo if you need to contact me. I check my email regularly, so you should get a response within 24 hours. If you have not heard from me within 24 hours and need to contact me urgently, please send a follow up text to

I strongly encourage that you do not wait until the very last minute to complete your assignments. Your assignments in weeks 4 and 5 require early planning as you would need to present a teaching plan and interview a community health provider. I advise you look at the requirements for these assignments at the beginning of the course and plan accordingly. I have posted the YouTube link that explains all the class assignments in detail. It is required that you watch this 32-minute video as the assignments from week 3 through 5 require that you follow the instructions to the letter to succeed. Failure to complete these assignments according to instructions might lead to a zero. After watching the video, please schedule a one-on-one with me to discuss your topic for your project by the second week of class. Use this link to schedule a 15-minute session. Please, call me at the time of your appointment on my number. Please note that I will NOT call you.

Please, be advised I do NOT accept any assignments by email. If you are having technical issues with uploading an assignment, contact the technical department and inform me of the issue. If you have any issues that would prevent you from getting your assignments to me by the deadline, please inform me to request a possible extension. Note that working fulltime or overtime is no excuse for late assignments. There is a 5%-point deduction for every day your assignment is late. This only applies to approved extensions. Late assignments will not be accepted.

If you think you would be needing accommodations due to any reasons, please contact the appropriate department to request accommodations.

Plagiarism is highly prohibited. Please ensure you are citing your sources correctly using APA 7th edition. All assignments including discussion posts should be formatted in APA with the appropriate spacing, font, margin, and indents. Any papers not well formatted would be returned back to you, hence, I advise you review APA formatting style. I have attached a sample paper in APA format and will also post sample discussion responses in subsequent announcements.

Your initial discussion post should be a minimum of 200 words and response posts should be a minimum of 150 words. Be advised that I grade based on quality and not necessarily the number of words you post. A minimum of TWO references should be used for your initial post. For your response post, you do not need references as personal experiences would count as response posts. If you however cite anything from the literature for your response post, it is required that you cite your reference. You should include a minimum of THREE references for papers in this course. Please note that references should be no more than 5 years old except recommended as a resource for the class. Furthermore, for each discussion board question, you need ONE initial substantive response and TWO substantive responses to either your classmates or your instructor for a total of THREE responses. There are TWO discussion questions each week, hence, you need a total minimum of SIX discussion posts for each week. I usually post a discussion question each week. You could also respond to these as it would count towards your required SIX discussion posts for the week.

I understand this is a lot of information to cover in 5 weeks, however, the Bible says in Philippians 4:13 that we can do all things through Christ that strengthens us. Even in times like this, we are encouraged by God’s word that we have that ability in us to succeed with His strength. I pray that each and every one of you receives strength for this course and life generally as we navigate through this pandemic that is shaking our world today. Relax and enjoy the course!
