How to Research and Prepare for HLT 362 Summary of Current Course Content Knowledge
Whether one passes or fails an academic assignment such as the Grand Canyon University HLT 362 Summary of Current Course Content Knowledge depends on the preparation done beforehand. The first thing to do once you receive an assignment is to quickly skim through the requirements. Once that is done, start going through the instructions one by one to clearly understand what the instructor wants. The most important thing here is to understand the required format—whether it is APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.
After understanding the requirements of the paper, the next phase is to gather relevant materials. The first place to start the research process is the weekly resources. Go through the resources provided in the instructions to determine which ones fit the assignment. After reviewing the provided resources, use the university library to search for additional resources. After gathering sufficient and necessary resources, you are now ready to start drafting your paper.
How to Write the Introduction for HLT 362 Summary of Current Course Content Knowledge
The introduction for the Grand Canyon University HLT 362 Summary of Current Course Content Knowledge is where you tell the instructor what your paper will encompass. In three to four statements, highlight the important points that will form the basis of your paper. Here, you can include statistics to show the importance of the topic you will be discussing. At the end of the introduction, write a clear purpose statement outlining what exactly will be contained in the paper. This statement will start with “The purpose of this paper…” and then proceed to outline the various sections of the instructions.
How to Write the Body for HLT 362 Summary of Current Course Content Knowledge
After the introduction, move into the main part of the HLT 362 Summary of Current Course Content Knowledge assignment, which is the body. Carefully examine the rubric, as it will contain all the detailed requirements of the assignment. Sometimes, the rubric will have information that the normal instructions lack.
Another important factor to consider at this point is how to do citations. In-text citations are fundamental as they support the arguments and points you make in the paper. At this point, the resources gathered at the beginning will come in handy. Integrating the ideas of the authors with your own will ensure that you produce a comprehensive paper. Also, follow the given citation format. In most cases, APA 7 is the preferred format for nursing assignments.
How to Write the Conclusion for HLT 362 Summary of Current Course Content Knowledge
After completing the main sections, write the conclusion of your paper. The conclusion is a summary of the main points you made in your paper. However, you need to rewrite the points and not simply copy and paste them. By restating the points from each subheading, you will provide a nuanced overview of the assignment to the reader.
How to Format the References List for HLT 362 Summary of Current Course Content Knowledge
The very last part of your paper involves listing the sources used in your paper. These sources should be listed in alphabetical order and double-spaced. Sample Answer 4 for HLT 362 Summary of Current Course Content Knowledge
I have a very limited knowledge of the weekly topics, as I have not taken a math course in years. In my day to day life, the only math I do is medication calculation, which are typically simple. Other than that, most of my math is done on a calculator. I have a basic understanding of the different sampling populations from various studies I have read over time. I am eager to learn as much as I can during this course so I am able to analyze studies more efficiently and determine whether or not they are credible.
While I have a basic working knowledge of research statistics, it is very superficial. Many of the objectives have been previously introduced when I participated in an “Intro to Research Methods” class, however, that class was over ten years ago and my level of retained understanding is minimal. I have been introduced to basic statistical terms and recognize the significance of the p-value. I also have an introductory knowledge of the different sampling populations, including the methods of using a blind or double-blind study. The idea of “rejecting” or “not rejecting” a null hypothesis is a completely new concept to me, as I do not recall having learned this before. Additionally, the term confidence interval is familiar, however the definition escapes me. While I am concerned that I may be lacking the mathematical background to do well in this class, I am eager to develop a deeper understanding of research statistics so that I can better synthesize research articles for future education.
One of the weekly objectives I had prior knowledge of is how spiritual considerations surrounding a disaster can arise for individuals, healthcare providers, and the community. The weekly objective deeply discussed how caregivers can apply the Christian worldview when caring for the community, individuals, and colleagues in disaster management (Captari et al., 2022). Furthermore, it acted as an inspiration on how I can use Christian values like patience, forgiveness, and acceptance when attending to disaster victims as a nurse (Captari et al., 2022). The other topic I had the aforementioned acquaintance of, was the nurturing involvements after the disastrous tremor in Haiti. Since the tremor affected many individuals, communities, and families, the intervention was subdivided into three which included tertiary, ancillary, and primary.
On the other hand, I had no prior knowledge on the topic elaborating how the caregivers could recognize pigeonholes, and prejudices within the society. I faced challenges before the discussion on how a nurse can address such concepts to promote health activities to be competent (eCareers, 2022). The objective sought strategies to reduce cultural dissonance and bias in delivering culturally competent care (eCareers, 2022). Nonetheless, the topic was clear and understandable after vivid and deep discussions with other students.
On top of that, I have two related topics I would like to discuss with my colleagues and instructor. The first is healthcare management, and the second is nurses’ challenges in their profession (Eckel, 2023). Some of the related questions in healthcare management include: How can diversity be evaluated in healthcare? Secondly, how gender roles can be evaluated in the nursing profession (Eckel, 2023). The other question is the impact of men nurses’ shortage in the healthcare system (Eckel, 2023). In relation to the other topic, I would like to discuss with colleagues how challenges like long shifts, exposure to chemicals and illness, physical demands, and schedule changes affect nurses (Eckel, 2023). I will have expanded my knowledge of the course by discussing the above topics.

I strongly encourage that you do not wait until the very last minute to complete your assignments. Your assignments in weeks 4 and 5 require early planning as you would need to present a teaching plan and interview a community health provider. I advise you look at the requirements for these assignments at the beginning of the course and plan accordingly. I have posted the YouTube link that explains all the class assignments in detail. It is required that you watch this 32-minute video as the assignments from week 3 through 5 require that you follow the instructions to the letter to succeed. Failure to complete these assignments according to instructions might lead to a zero. After watching the video, please schedule a one-on-one with me to discuss your topic for your project by the second week of class. Use this link to schedule a 15-minute session. Please, call me at the time of your appointment on my number. Please note that I will NOT call you.
Please, be advised I do NOT accept any assignments by email. If you are having technical issues with uploading an assignment, contact the technical department and inform me of the issue. If you have any issues that would prevent you from getting your assignments to me by the deadline, please inform me to request a possible extension. Note that working fulltime or overtime is no excuse for late assignments. There is a 5%-point deduction for every day your assignment is late. This only applies to approved extensions. Late assignments will not be accepted.
If you think you would be needing accommodations due to any reasons, please contact the appropriate department to request accommodations.
Plagiarism is highly prohibited. Please ensure you are citing your sources correctly using APA 7th edition. All assignments including discussion posts should be formatted in APA with the appropriate spacing, font, margin, and indents. Any papers not well formatted would be returned back to you, hence, I advise you review APA formatting style. I have attached a sample paper in APA format and will also post sample discussion responses in subsequent announcements.
Your initial discussion post should be a minimum of 200 words and response posts should be a minimum of 150 words. Be advised that I grade based on quality and not necessarily the number of words you post. A minimum of TWO references should be used for your initial post. For your response post, you do not need references as personal experiences would count as response posts. If you however cite anything from the literature for your response post, it is required that you cite your reference. You should include a minimum of THREE references for papers in this course. Please note that references should be no more than 5 years old except recommended as a resource for the class. Furthermore, for each discussion board question, you need ONE initial substantive response and TWO substantive responses to either your classmates or your instructor for a total of THREE responses. There are TWO discussion questions each week, hence, you need a total minimum of SIX discussion posts for each week. I usually post a discussion question each week. You could also respond to these as it would count towards your required SIX discussion posts for the week.
I understand this is a lot of information to cover in 5 weeks, however, the Bible says in Philippians 4:13 that we can do all things through Christ that strengthens us. Even in times like this, we are encouraged by God’s word that we have that ability in us to succeed with His strength. I pray that each and every one of you receives strength for this course and life generally as we navigate through this pandemic that is shaking our world today. Relax and enjoy the course!
