Conflicts occur in the workplace for nurses in the course of care treatment and interactions with patient. Having a personality that allows one to mitigate and solve workplace conflicts is important for nurses to have better and positive interactions with their patients and colleagues. Based on the Jung Typology Test, my personality is ISTJ which means introvert-sensor-thinker-judger. The test confirms that as an introvert, I am reserved and reflective while drawing my energy from my thoughts and time spent alone. As a sensor, I live in present and depend on facts, handle practical issues and like concrete and measurable things. As a thinker, I make decisions based on logic and impersonal analysis and think with my head and not heart (Jung Typology Test, n.d). Being a judger means that I like decisive, planned and orderly lifestyle. I prefer a life that is organized and controlled. I see a job to the end with high levels of commitment and I am reserved, responsible and dependable. The personality is related to conflict management strategies as it shows that I will apply logic and reason with my head and not heart. The personality also implies that I take conflicts positively and seek ways to resolve them by giving my thoughtful opinions and ideas.
