Do you think Palin’s comment below is an ethically questionable scare tactic or an effective technique to counter Democrats’ health care reform plans?
And who will be the hardest hit by healthcare rationing? Those who are in need are, of course, the sick, the old, and the disabled. My parents and my kid with Down syndrome will not have to face Obama’s death panel in the America I know and love, where bureaucrats would judge whether or not they are deserving of health care based on their subjective assessment of their degree of contribution to society. A system like that is pure wickedness.
Consider whether your assessment is influenced by your dedication to advance care planning, your ability to critically evaluate the evidence, or your allegiance to a particular political party.
Do nurses have a responsibility to support health reform legislation despite its flaws?
Does this also apply to the American Health Care Act, which just just passed into law and promptly failed?
