How to Research and Prepare for NURS 6052 Post a Brief Description of your Clinical Issue of Interest
Whether one passes or fails an academic assignment such as the Walden University NURS 6052 Post a Brief Description of your Clinical Issue of Interest depends on the preparation done beforehand. The first thing to do once you receive an assignment is to quickly skim through the requirements. Once that is done, start going through the instructions one by one to clearly understand what the instructor wants. The most important thing here is to understand the required format—whether it is APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.
After understanding the requirements of the paper, the next phase is to gather relevant materials. The first place to start the research process is the weekly resources. Go through the resources provided in the instructions to determine which ones fit the assignment. After reviewing the provided resources, use the university library to search for additional resources. After gathering sufficient and necessary resources, you are now ready to start drafting your paper.
How to Write the Introduction for NURS 6052 Post a Brief Description of your Clinical Issue of Interest
The introduction for the Walden University NURS 6052 Post a Brief Description of your Clinical Issue of Interest is where you tell the instructor what your paper will encompass. In three to four statements, highlight the important points that will form the basis of your paper. Here, you can include statistics to show the importance of the topic you will be discussing. At the end of the introduction, write a clear purpose statement outlining what exactly will be contained in the paper. This statement will start with “The purpose of this paper…” and then proceed to outline the various sections of the instructions.
How to Write the Body for NURS 6052 Post a Brief Description of your Clinical Issue of Interest
After the introduction, move into the main part of the NURS 6052 Post a Brief Description of your Clinical Issue of Interest assignment, which is the body. In some cases, you might have to use more subheadings to properly organize the assignment. The organization will depend on the rubric provided. Carefully examine the rubric, as it will contain all the detailed requirements of the assignment. Sometimes, the rubric will have information that the normal instructions lack.
Another important factor to consider at this point is how to do citations. In-text citations are fundamental as they support the arguments and points you make in the paper. At this point, the resources gathered at the beginning will come in handy. Integrating the ideas of the authors with your own will ensure that you produce a comprehensive paper. Also, follow the given citation format. In most cases, APA 7 is the preferred format for nursing assignments.

After completing the main sections, write the conclusion of your paper. The conclusion is a summary of the main points you made in your paper. The national health care issue I choose to talk about is the increase risk of suicide among nurses. in the first national study of its size, researchers at University of California San Diego School of Medicine and UC San Diego Health, Department of Nursing, have found that male and female nurses are at higher risk of suicide than the general population(Carr, 2020) Research has shown found that female nurse suicide rates from 2005 to 2016 were significantly higher (10 per 100,000) than the general female population (7 per 100,000). Similarly, male nurses (33 per 100,000) were higher than the general male population (27 per 100,000) for the same period (Carr, 2020). Nurses have studied suicide rates among other populations but have never focused on themselves . Nurses are known not to care for themselves as much as they care for others.
Before developing a PICOT question, I did some research on the topic. I experienced some initial difficulties with the search, but through the use of Boolean expressions, and some trial and error, the final search was successful. A common search string was used in all three research databases: (suicide AND nurses) OR healthcare. The searches in PubMed and CINAHL yielded very small results, even with filters, however the result from the search in ProQuest used filters to those with a better chance of meeting our objective. We used two of the three filters available: Peer reviewed and scholarly journals. All literature included in the study was independently read by at least three researchers and summarized. Before the researchers accepted the literature, it was evaluated to ensure it was relevant to the study. Literature was only rejected and excluded if at least two researchers agreed it was not relevant.
As an early and critical step in the EBP process, it is remarkable to discover how often PICOT questions are incorrectly written(Gallagher et al., 2019).The PICOT format contains the following five elements: Population or sample subjects that researcher wishes to recruit into the study; Intervention of interest; Comparator intervention or a control group to compare with the intervention of interest; Outcomes or results that will measure the effectiveness of intervention; and the Time-frame over which the outcomes are assessed(Abbade et al.,2017). My PICOT Does quarterly psychological checkin help decrease the risk of suicide of rate among nurses?

When you decide to purchase a new car, you first decide what is important to you. If mileage and dependability are the important factors, you will search for data focused more on these factors and less on color options and sound systems.
The same holds true when searching for research evidence to guide your clinical inquiry and professional decisions. Developing a formula for an answerable, researchable question that addresses your need will make the search process much more effective. One such formula is the PICO(T) format.
In this Discussion, you will transform a clinical inquiry into a searchable question in PICO(T) format, so you can search the electronic databases more effectively and efficiently. You will share this PICO(T) question and examine strategies you might use to increase the rigor and effectiveness of a database search on your PICO(T) question.
To Prepare:
Review the Resources and identify a clinical issue of interest that can form the basis of a clinical inquiry.
Review the materials offering guidance on using databases, performing keyword searches, and developing PICO(T) questions provided in the Resources.
Based on the clinical issue of interest and using keywords related to the clinical issue of interest, search at least two different databases in the Walden Library to identify at least four relevant peer-reviewed articles related to your clinical issue of interest. You should not be using systematic reviews for this assignment, select original research articles.
Review the Resources for guidance and develop a PICO(T) question of interest to you for further study. It is suggested that an Intervention-type PICOT question be developed as these seem to work best for this course.
By Day 3 of Week 4
Post a brief description of your clinical issue of interest. This clinical issue will remain the same for the entire course and will be the basis for the development of your PICOT question. Describe your search results in terms of the number of articles returned on original research and how this changed as you added search terms using your Boolean operators. Finally, explain strategies you might make to increase the rigor and effectiveness of a database search on your PICO(T) question. Be specific and provide examples.
By Day 6 of Week 4
Respond to at least two of your colleagues on two different days and provide further suggestions on how their database search might be improved.

I enjoyed reading your post, you highlighted on important points, Your consideration of the limited impact of podium presentations at organizational or unit levels is valid. It highlights the importance of choosing dissemination methods that align with the intended audience and the scale of impact you aim to achieve. Acknowledging the competitive nature of journal submissions is essential. Your proactive approach of thorough preparation, adherence to guidelines, and seeking feedback aligns with best practices in navigating the publication process (Gray et al., 2022).
